    Good Morning

Good Morning to all, had your coffee? or is it tea? I never touch tea . But a nice crispy morning, out on the lawn do some exercise , all's well. Done your good deed for the day ? What about a nice cup of tea for the wife in bed with a solitary flower plucked out of winters hands, roses are nice! Plus you never know what goes around ,comes around.

I've just crawled out from under a very warm duvet. The wife's been already up for a couple of hours knitting a heavy sweater for our eldest granddaughter.

It's about three below freezing we have snow frozen to the ground and you think I'm going out picking roses.

    Are you mad Balan?

I've had my morning coffee, Mrs S has had her morning cup of tea in bed, I bring her one every morning, I was going to start to clear up the storm damage around the house and in the garden today, but it'll have to wait, all the fallen leaves, twigs and branches are under a layer of frozen snow. I think I'll start another jigsaw.

Good morning to all. I have just got back in after a 2 mile slide along the pavements of Ashington in order to get some milk and bread.
Roses, Balan? They were all decimated in the 98 mph winds which we experienced on Friday night, in fact, that is why I have not ventured into the woods for a couple of days ---there are lots of trees which have been uprooted and blocking the way in.
The bonus is, I am wide awake and have plenty to keep me occupied today so no problem.

Just having my second pot of coffee, like you Balan I can't stand tea. I have already taken her who must be obeyed her morning cup of tea and can now browse the posts of this web site.

Nothing planned for today as yet, but still recovering from travelling to Turf Moor yesterday a journey that usually take 15 minutes each way took almost 2 hours yesterday for the round trip and I didn't even get out of the car.

Its nice to know your all up and about. Meanwhile thinking it will take you people hours to get ready I popped out in the car to our fish pools, no not for fish and chips. To catch the nature out and about on a lovely morning in the 20's. Since Alfi likes the Kingfisher, I think its rubbing on me too beautiful colours !Then as I have been out here many times I know where they scan the waters, for breakfast?

Yes, The autumn crocus is the first flower to emerge from the ground during the rainy season in Israel. Only the bloom is visible above ground, and its tulip-like leaves appear in the spring. Thanks to the first heavy rains, these attractive flowers are blooming across Israel, and will continue to do so throughout December.
