A deserved win achieved by a positive performance from the team, highlighted be a tremendous goal from Tony Watt. Woolery’s best game and if only KVV had been a bit more composed in his finishing we would have won by more. I think we missed Sol when he went off and let’s hope the injury doesn’t keep him out for too long. Saturday will be a difficult game but if we show the same application we could push Hibs all the way.

At last I have managed to see a victory when MFC are on ESPN here in SA! Awesome display, front three were immense. Got a bit nervous late on after the red card, especially in the conditions, but so good to see the commitment.

Thoroughly deserved win, should have been by more than one in the end.

Our last four games have seen us beat European hopefuls Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee United without conceding a goal with relegation-threatened Dundee instead absolutely cuffing us...random coincidence or do we worry we have a touch of the Ged Brannon about us, only turning up for big games?

You do fear for us defensively against Hibs with Ojala and presumably SSJ out and the midfield, fragile as it is, will need another tweak. What's astonishing there is just how important Goss has become given his first appearances were frankly shocking. Not only is he the best passer of the three but Slattery - funnily enough - really stands out when he has someone to play with and he's not trying to carry another two guys on his own.

Watt was magnificent last night, even apart from the goal, and presumably we're in talks with him already. KVV had a better game but three chances and not one on target was a pretty poor return.

It's probably too late, but I hope that someone whispers in Steve Clarke's ear about the current top SPL goalscorer, rather than some guy with Stoke that no-one has heard of. Interestingly, in three of the last four seasons, the top scorer got 18 goals, so how close can Tony come. With the three of them up front, interchanging as they did and working hard, maybe we can start to string some performances together? Easter Rd will be a test, though.

And what about a shout for Woollery - he's become a first pick IMO ...

Improving hugely for sure...if he can develop half an end product he'll be a big contributor.
