On a very cold evening, I thought we played quite well against a determined Burnley side. After the thumping they gave us last season at Molineux I expected more from them. They packed their defence and wasted time at every opportunity. If Adama had hit the net instead of the cross bar it could so easily have been a different story.

We had plenty of possession and moved the ball well, although sometimes too slow. The more the game went on, the more you had the feeling it was going to be one of those nights. Chances came and went and you sensed that the players were becoming frustrated that nothing hit the back of the net.

Like him or loath him, Traore does excite supporters and he does get people of their seats. We must play him in tne upcoming big games. Max Kilman continues to impress, so much so, that Wood who scored a first half hat trick last season was subbed in the second half. Some will say it was two points lost, but remember that Norwich and Burnley are fighting for Premiership survival and i suspect that they will take points of several sides over the next few weeks.

As Plater says, we are sixth in the table, who would have thought that after a zero return from our first three games. Enjoy it while we can. After the run of fixture we have coming up, any points gained will be a bonus.

I forgot to mention the referee last night, John Brooks. It was his first Premier League game and considering, I thought he did well. Not afraid to let the game flow , but prepared to get the cards out when needed.
