    Not fit enough

I can't find the article but Wilson has basically said we were not fit enough at the start of the season. . .

No **** sherlock, we could all see it, fact players were blown by 70mins.

That has cost us alot, not being fit enough to see the games out.

Also - what a damning indictment of Bruce and his training.

    Here it is, Jammy:

Astounding-but not surprising-that Bruce should prepare the team so badly. We had more days off than any other team and, surprise, surprise, it shows on the pitch.

If we go down this season, it will 100% be down to the way Bruce has 'trained' these players.

Howe will have to work miracles to keep us up. It's not just about the gap to 17th, it's about the condition and quality of the squad (tbf, the quality is also down to fatso)

As much Bruce and his team are to blame, The players should be keeping themselves in the best shape possible.

If they're professionals it's their duty to be as fit as possible, should be written into their contracts.

There apparently was one of the current squad who did train with his old team when he got the chance because of the lack of fitness under Bruce.

I don't have any problem whatsoever believing that but do wonder who it was?

Willock maybe - not like we've signed many new players.

Unless it was ASM when he went back to France, on all those ocassions.

I think I read that Callum Wilson was also reportedly spotted at his local David Lloyd club in Bournemouth when he went home during injuries.
