Its the longest trip of the season as we take on newly appointed Chris Wilder’s Middlesborough this afternoon. Fresh from their win at Huddersfield, Boro will be looking to grab all three points.
Swans are hoping they can put their feeble defensive display against Reading behind them and get the wheels back on track.
They’ve had a week on the training ground to sort it out and regroup,so no excuses.
Will Rhys Williams be given another chance or will Cabango return to replace him?
Will Flynn Downes return after Korey Smith was favoured instead of him last week?
Given that both players were directly responsible for us conceding goals last Saturday I expect both Cabango and Downes to return.

Sorry it’s Ntcham who’s made way, Smith plays surprisingly.
FT 1-0
Jones 26’
Another game, another defeat. Only one decent half again from Swans, this time the second half when we were chasing the game.
Once again Williams was caught napping and done for pace as Jones raced through to score, Williams jogging after him, Hamer retreated weakly back to his goal line instead of staying further out to narrow the angle, and was done on his near post - again.
Second half we were better but our shots were wayward and throughout the match, all 15 of them, five on target but weak shots, what’s the matter with these guys.
Conclusion, something has to change, we can’t do this every week.
We’ve regressed instead of progressed, very worrying.

Another game of poor defending because of the system we’re playing, and missed chances the other end, and two consecutive defeats by mediocre teams.
Way too far advanced up field and vulnerable to the counter attack. Not the players fault they’re doing as they’re told
Martini had a week to rectify the problem but it was Groundhog Day again. Wilder on the other hand saw the Reading match and knew how easy it was to beat us down our left hand side, with Manning leaving the pedantic Williams chasing shadows.
Still we could have saved the goal but Hamer retreated to his goal line and was beaten once again at his near post, instead of advancing to narrow the angle of the shot. Do we have a goalkeeper coach?
Spoilt my weekend for the second time in a row.

The criticism of Martin is building after repeating the Reading match errors in this match.
Left side completely exposed to pace and we are left chasing the game - again.
Wing-back Manning in no mans land up front, long ball over the top of the defence and Williams jogging back to chase their speedy winger through on goal, Hamer beaten on his near post, goodbye Swans.
