    Non league non contracts.

A Wisbech midfielder has left to join Nuneaton, just like that. I read the non league paper on line, and its amazing how many clubs some players rack up. theres a Bromsgrove player with as many ex clubs, as ive had ex girlfriends....maybe more.

Call me naive, but there are no contracts. Its why Wisbech players dont turn up when it suits them.

It means chairmen or managers are ringing round for a team constantly, and any player who joins only joins for as long as he feels like it. Players are paid per game. It is hardly ideal if you want to build a team. Wisbech players join March on a whim, and in reverse.

Im sure money has a part to play. Loyalty only exists when the moneys right.

There's no loyally in football anymore Frank except for the fans of the club who are seen as a cash cow by most but not clubs in the Premier League,I can remember reading somewhere that fans of PL clubs only account for about 15% of their revenue such is the riches of TV rights,it doesn't suprise me one bit that players on a pay as you play contracts because the National League and lower is saturated with quite good but not good enough for League clubs, players who are looking for final paypackets before retiring from football and good league players dropping down a league tempted by the money being offered by some clubs trying to climb out of the NL,then there's the professional journeymen who have spent there whole careers traveling from club to club because they just aren't that good enough to play higher

You are right. Having said that, a March Town striker, Jack Friend, who is scoring for fun, wont join Wisbech. But he would if Kings Lynn came in for him. There is something wrong with Wisbech, if it can go wrong, it will.

There is something wrong with Cambridge United.
