    FA Cup draw next week.

The FA Cup 3rd draw is on Monday Dec 6th at 7pm.

The PL & Championship teams all enter into the 3rd round to make up 32 ties played on the weekend of Saturday January 8th in 2022.

Leeds will be ball-number '21' in the Draw !

To some folks mindsets obviously a cup run will be a 'problem' as it may effect league form etc, for me a problem situation is only a problem if it's looked at in a certain way.Looked at in another way, the right course of action may be so obvious that the problem no longer exists - continuity or lack of it this season has been our main problem. With injured players getting back into the groove & admirable young player stand in's now with experience, I hope this season we really go for it in the FA Cup as confidence alone will be of benefit to all concerned.

So who do we want - well, Derby at home will do nicely for starters.

By the time this FA cup game comes around our first team players might be in dire need of a confidence boosting win

Last thing we need is a cup run (not that we ever get one) so give me one of the top 6 away and lets get it done and dusted and concentrate on the Relegation scrap we are in.

I'd quite like Harrogate at ER, be a great occasion for them

Just had a look at the teams left and there are barely any fun lower league ties, it is all league sides. Wish there was a way for more conference or lower sides to have a chance at a PL team, really important for them and what the cup is all about really.

Said it before. We're either fighting for bottom 6 or top 6 so we have no interest in winning. Putting out a team of kids so they can get a hammering from lower league opposition. Great for them to learn how to take a beating.
Great for the supporters who want to win every game and who will have their weekend spoilt.
Shouldn't even enter the fkin thing.

As above, the league is main priority this year, so an early ( the normal ) exit not that major.
No " easy " cup games any longer, fitness levels/training etc, all much higher in Lg 2 & National, than say 10 - 15 yrs ago, plus the thought of further injuries, could be pretty damaging.
