    Slim margins

    Just had a long look at the table and in particular everyone's last five results.

    Palace, top of the bottom half, 11th are 6 points above us. There are nine**** points separating the top half of the division.

    We have lost seven games along with Burnley and Everton and the Vile have lost eight with Watford on nine losses.

    The odd stat is the last five results. Only eight clubs have only lost one out of the five, us, Burnley, and Norwich along with the other five.

    The above gives me reason to think that a decent steady run would get us up the table quicker than we all previously thought. And of course, there is the improvement from the coming widow to factor in.

    totally agree mate, its mental to think 6 points separate the entire bottom half of the table 11-20.
    we needed to make up 6 points to survive, now its down to 3 points
    im up for the challenge and todays gritty performance has shown me the squad is too

    I wouldn't analyse that table until the end of December...

    I hardly want to look at it before that.
