    Vs Leicester

Not long until the team sheets come out. My guess would be

    Martinez
    Cash Konza Mings Targett
    Nkamba Luiz McGinn
    Buendier Watkins Young

This obviously depends if Targett is fit and Young would fit in at left back. Probably Elgazi to come in?

Wow another win. Were looking like a completely different side since Gerrards arrival.

going to have to check up on any more arcane rules that they can take our goals away. totally ridiculous to say schmeichel had any control of the ball

Speech impediment aside, I think that this manager will become very popular. As were his Merseyside predecessors Saunders and Atkinson.

And of course Sir Dennis of Mortimer.

Hard fought win, nice to see a pattern of play.

Didn't see any of the game as I was driving home from a weekend away visiting family but obviously over the moon to beat them after recent meetings at VP have borne no fruit. What a transformation, be interesting to see how we get on at Anfield.

By the way if you haven't yet seen the impressionist Darren Farley on YT he's brilliant at various football personalities including Gerrard, Benitez, Carragher and Bruce.

10.28pm and just got back from A brilliant game, we deserved the win but I will remember this game for the 6th minute tribute to tragic death of young Arthur the little child blues fan so horribly murdered by a sicko.
I was holding back the tears....😭

Saw that on MOTD2 tonight, a touch of real class when the football family comes together RIP little Arthur - you'll never be forgotten.

Of course, delighted with a win.

I just wish that little boy knew people cared when he was still with us, I wish he'd not been let down so badly. It was a lovely gesture, but I am incapable of thinking about Arthur, and and what he endured, without tears running down my face, and a sense of anger with all those whom he depended on to look after him. Let his little life not be in vain so this is never allowed to happen again. It just all feels too late for the little boy who thought no-one loved him.
