I assume it’s something to do with queens celebrations as the bank holiday is now a Thursday and Friday not the usual Monday which used to have the championship final on it.so they have moved one final to the weekend before and the others on the Saturday and Sunday.

    Thanks for that Clarkey.

So we're down to the last 3 games in this making hay period and all going pretty well so far with 18pts from 8 games.

Yes. The barn is almost full. 24pts from 10 games. Just one more to go and then we start a run against what on paper look like sterner opposition but I think they'll be more worried about playing us.

Well, what a winter harvest this has been. 11 games played, 9 wins, 21 GF, 5 GA, 27pts stacked in the barn.

At the start of the run we were level on points with Wigan had a GD of 21 v 18 having played 1 game more and we were just 5pts clear of 7th placed SW having played 1 game less with GD 21 v 7.

Tonight we are 9pts clear of Wigan having played 3 more games (GD 37 v 22) and 13pts clear of 7th placed SW having played the same number of games (GD 37 v 10).

Let's see how much hay we can make now the games get harder but the sun (in theory) should start to shine.

Even drawing against Pigs and Wigan wouldn't be tragic it just keeps them at arms length, but beating them would go a very long way forwards..........
