There was talk of us signing Josh windass in January then it said: “Windass isn’t a natural number 9 he likes to play off a striker”
Why are we so striker blind?
Are the chinks superstitious of the number 9 or something? 🤷*♂️

If we had got Josh then we would be featured in all the sports knowledge quiz questions such as 'which is the only club to have had 2 arses in a team on separate occasions' Answer Burnt arse and josh windyarse.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Norwich recalled Hugill, they have some very poor ‘strikers’ in their team at the moment. Pukki aside, their forwards Idah and Sargent are utterly useless, worse than Hugill in my opinion. My son in law is a Norwich STH and he says that Sargent couldn’t hit a cows @rse with the proverbial banjo! If it’s at all possible, even Zohore is better than Idah! Both Sargent and Idah missed absolute sitters yesterday, Hugill would certainly have scored from those chances.

    Norwich must be desperate.

    Gives me hope if true.

Totally correct! We've got players who like to come inside from wide position so why on earth do we need another player who does exactly the same thing. Is our scouting system that inept that they don't understand that we need somebody who is purely and simply a striker who plays down the middle and that these wide men can play off. For instance, Gayle may not be the greatest in the air but can do the other facets reasonably well. There have got to be others of that ilk out there so why is it that our scouts seem incapable of working this out and bringing the right sort of striker in? It remains a mystery to all of us.

You are totally correct about our recruitment.
But in fairness to them none of them have the slightest clue about running a football club.
It’s a marriage made in hell between them and us , the loyal fans.

If we are not prepared to spend any money ..... like the summer transfer window .... then I won’t be surprised if we end up empty handed re: a new striker. Maybe with our current owners the only option is to give Tulloch, Cleary and Co a chance ...... costs nothing in fees and wages .... and who knows we might get lucky ....
