Agree Brindleys done really well there, the only criticism I’ve ever had of him is I thought he didn’t get forward enough as he certainly has the ability to, always felt he’s slightly played within himself at RB as he’s a very talented player at this level. Richardson sounds a very good signing, I think most fans and staff really like DKE but he’s a RB not a WB and Parsons a Winger, at least IB knows what he’s getting if he’s watched him a lot.
Yeah, he popped up as LWB in that game! There's a video on his arrival at Exeter where he describes himself as RWB...
But a wideman that likes to get forward for sure
I think we should forget about Brinds as a wing back (apart from in an emergency). He's a great RCB or RB in a four.
He's a quality over quantity type player. I don't think it's in his nature to bomb up and down a flank all game, but when the game comes to him in that RCB role his work is pretty immaculate and he will use the space ahead of him a few times each game.
Wow, on the face of it signing a player who’s played in the championship this season seems like quite the coup.
RWB though, haven’t we got a few of them already?
Not really BFP, maybe none at all to the standard required if we’re serious about promotion. I think the arrival of Parsons and Richardson shows that IB is totally committed to 3-5-2, and with good reason, we have players who are great for that system...apart from RWB. Richardson looks like the best answer so far. It’s going to help us a tonne to have proper specialists on both sides of the pitch
