i agree king dobbie but if we do get rid of him we have to bring in a guy known for playing ball on deck thats where johnstones went wrong he does try to get them to play on deck at times but when chips are down thay start going long and it kills us ,we need a man that demands a more disciplined passing style and lets wingers and strikers take men on and he needs to be allowed to bring in 2 or 3 better passers to the squad .

Queens have actually the biggest squad for a good few seasons. We usually run with a bench full of youth players.

i reckon a decent manager with a more direct short passing style would suit the team we have better but id want him to be given funds to bring in say 3 decent players to suit his style whether that be lonees or permanent who knows .

Just can't forget AJ's first stint here. On the deck attacking football. You don't suddenly turn into a rubbish manager. It's all down to the calibre of player.
IMO we lack experience in the squad.

Some flawed logic here which suggesting AJ had poor quality players during his spells at Kilmarnock then Dunfermline. In his first spell with Queens we did indeed play fast flowing attractive football but it was in a very different First Division then where we were the only full time club in a much poorer league
A good manager will excel with average players making them and the club better than the individual parts.

I have always maintained that the 18th of December was D Day, as that is decision day (in my opinion) as to whether the club can continue with the incumbent or bring in someone capable of not only negotiating the crucial festive period and the massive Kili match, - but can be relied upon to bring the required recruits to bolster the team in the January window with the valuable Tanner Fund.

Johnston to his credit has put his hands up and apologised to the fans for the dreadful display on Tuesday night, - although if we are honest, there was always a huge risk playing Cove. Having said that, if we had delivered a performance like we had against Partick, Queens would have been too good for them, but alas that is in the past.

As a consequence we have lost a decent pay day at Easter Road and we must now concentrate on winning games, as opposed to grinding out creditable draws, and the manager needs to deliver 6 points against Dunfermline and Ayr.
