Well, I said who's the worst team or can we get an individual performance?
Perhaps the first part is still undecided (mind you I am unconvinced by England! ) or perhaps Root or Malan will produce that special performance??
So, shall I stay up tonight and watch or go to night nights and dream a good 4th day??
    Decisions, decisions........

This is why I love test cricket, there's always a twist!
I'm not staying up for this one, I just don't think we have it in us to bat long enough.
Aussies are fragile though, so it really does emphasise your "who's the worst" point!

I shall try to keep my mind clear of negative thoughts Ramshank!
Perhaps GP's dream will turn out to be a phenomenonally accurate forecast??
Them blooming pigs are still out there doing their low flying tricks!

Is this the worst set of England 'batters' of all time??
    Technique, what technique??!!
Once again we gullibly thought 'perhaps what if'!
    Dog poo, all of them.
It's the hope that kills you!!
Yep, it's back to the simple explanation - tossers, just tossers!

On the bright side I realised there was no hope after the thirdwicket fell and got myself a good nights sleep!

Yes you are probably right they are the worst set of batsmen I can recall, but I don't think its technique, IMO its application, they collectivelyjust don't seem capable of concentrating on the job in hand

Good decision...did you have the same dream as GP?

Don’t think they’re the worst set of batsmen in memory - we were dire throughout the nineties if memory serves - but we need to show otherwise pdq.

I don't think it's application as I was taught that application(concentration) is an essential component of your technique hence the initial susceptibility when first at the crease.
My objective when first at the crease was to establish my off peg, one of my teachers allowed us 3 balls to do that saying that it switched on your concentration to set a timeline. After that flashing outside the line was met by a loud scream 'concentration boy concentration' the first essential of technique!
It's a fault in technique aggravated by the short game!
