    The debt to Purepay

If Dean Henderson does not leave Manchester United in January then as David de Gea approaches his dotage Henderson is going to get more games and will therefor probably be at the club for all of his best years.

Thus the cash windfall for 1921 will not occur. The club and the Holdings directors will be utterly fucked. PD / Purepay are thought to want out and PD is not known for giving money away. In the circumstances detailed above there is no way that Purepay will get much of the current £2.37 million amount back.

So, I suggest that Laffy and his associates buy the loan for £400,000 and then call in the full £2.37 million value from 1921 using the Personal Guarantees of Jenkins / Nixon / Pattison. Then the "or else" can be stated. That will be check mate by Laffy.

I’ve heard rumours about Henderson leaving, but on loan - to the barcodes or elsewhere including the continent. In that case the football fortune won’t be forthcoming and Day won’t be seeing his loan back any day soon. So, why not try that - unless Laffy isn’t interested in pulling the trigger himself.
