    Sttevenage Post match

KM tightening of defence pays dividends as we score - but it was not a great display against poor opposition.

    Howard 6
    Gibson 5
    McDonald 6
    Mellish 7
    Dickenson 7.5 (MoM)
    Devine 6
    Guy 6
    Feeney 5
    Fishburn 5
    Mellor 5
    Armer 5

    Howard 7
Mellor 7 (the first goal was his really).
    Feeney 7
    McDonald 7
    Armer 7
    Gibson 7
    Guy 7
    Devine 7
    Dickenson 7
Mellish 5 (without the tap in it would have been lower).
Fishburn 5 (not ready for this level).

Couldn't pick a Man of the Match.

    Hard to criticise the defence.

Big problem remains lack of a goal threat.

Gibson didn't have the best of games but he always looks the most likely to create something or score.

Mellish (Chris Lumsden's love child?) and Fishburn ran around but in reality achieved very little.

For me Young is the only forward we have on our books who is worth a place and he should have started.
