Another 900 crossed the channel on Thurday and Friday successfully according to what I've just read a moment ago .

Thankfully without loss of life and that's my humanitarian side kicking in .

Hardly laughable is it to prevent a repeat of the tragedy we had a few weeks ago when many drowned .

I could be wrong about this but I'm sure I read somewhere a good while back that if we were still in the EU we could legally return them to France and because we've left we can't .
