Managers including Millen are still complaining about Christmas to New Year's Day being a busy time for fixtures. But look at the League Two fixtures.
The Carlisle United fixtures would have been :-
Sat 18th Dec Carlisle United v Bradford City
Sun 26th Dec Carlisle United v Rochdale
Wed 29th Dec Salford City v Carlisle United
Sat 1st Jan Scunthorpe United v Carlisle United
This is the pattern for all of League Two. It is quite ordinary. There is no reason to grumble.
After these fixtures the next scheduled Carlisle United match is :-
Sat 15th January Carlisle United v Crawley Town
As for re-arranging the Carlisle United v Bradford City match it could take place on Saturday 8th January. Neither team now has a fixture on that day.
I think that managers complaining about a busy festive schedule are merely remembering times gone by.
