I actually worked with the real life father of the infamous Eddie Grundy from The Archers when I was a rep for Ashfords Fiesta Frozen Food in Stourbridge from 84 to 91. 🤣

I’ve just noticed that he ( Trevor Harrison ) went to the same Grange Secondary School as myself and he’d actually have been there whilst I was there.

His dad Norman was a really lovely bloke.

When I worked at Hepworths in Stourbridge I used to deal with an old guy called Chris Gittings who was one of the originals from The Archers and still in it in the late 70’s when I knew him.

Stourbridge has a real connection to Tve Archers.

Ken Barlow though........playing the same part for 62 years just about shows your limitations as an actor, he’s played Ken Barlow longer than I’ve played my f e c k I n self!

Useless, boring old t w a t, I hope he dies this year.

His son is actually a very good actor, obviously he didn’t get his dad’s boring old c hunt genes.
