    Tony Watt to Dundee United

Tony Watt is believed to agreed to a 3 year deal with Dundee United and has signed a pre- contract. He is due to leave at the end of this season unless a deal can be reached in the coming up transfer window

I hope we hold on to him till the end of the season. He may still finish top of the scoring table and send us to Europe.

Strange move but he's done his bit for us and if that's where he reckons he'll get the best combination of cash and off-field contentment fair play to him.

It's a big coup for United but also a hell of a gamble.

I don't want him anywhere near the field of play from now on. Get Shields in and that's all I say on the matter.

Agreed, he has shown where his new found loyalty lies. His work rate, which had been excellent since joining us, will now drop off. Get him out, I'll be amazed if he returns anything like his 1st of the season. Thanks for your contribution so far, but just sit your arse on the bench for the remainder.

We gave him a chance, forced him to get fit, supported him all the way and this is what happens. Sad thing is, he'll probably score in every game against us next season.

He'll be just as keen to get a win bonus as ever. I'd keep him in the team.

Some interesting rumours going around re the offers made and received, regardless of whether they're true I don't see why anyone begrudges him his move. He did much better for us than anyone could have expected.

Don't see how he can take to the field and expect any kind of positive reaction from the fans. I don't begrudge him his move, if it's financially beneficial for him then that's great for him, just don't expect the Well fans to lap it up. We will not get the same returns from an uncommitted player with hefty signing on fee hanging out his back pocket, anyone who thinks we will is a bit nieve. GHTF.
    Merry Christmas.
