According to some reputable and some not so reputable sources, a fee for Digne has been agreed, rising to 25m. Medical later today.

Fabrizio Romano, who is rarely wrong, if ever, says AEG to Everton, season-long loan.

He also says that Digne is done.

Probably reading off their list of things that they wish they could do.

He is a fearless goal scorer from the penalty spot though, fair’s, fair.

I always wanted him to do so well, but alas, his body language and wearing gloves in August didn’t help his cause. Some fine goals, including the screamer at the Whorethorns.

I had a peek at him v Milan last night. Very difficult to judge a defensive midfielder in an Italian game, as there are usually 20 def-mids on the pitch at the same time. Hence he didn’t stand out.

Serie A is a tragic league, bl00dy awful.

I like the look of Boubacar Kamara (Marseille), who’s also been approached. He can play CB as well as DM.

I would put a cheeky bid in for John Stones. + Suarez and a defensive midfielder and were sorted.
