this is what I would do to improve the board

1. A guaranteed sign up approval time of under 24 hours
2. Publicity to attract new users
3. A truely independant board - no deals with the other board on who can be approved
4. Unban Piglet with immediate effect. Cancel other bands also
5. Simplify predictocomp. EOBs, Numbers in brackets, guessing results or scores in different games. It is too complex. Griff can still run the simple version of course if he wants

I think the board would be improved a lot with these suggestions and then the independant board would overtake the other as the most popular by far

Surely the first step would be for Griff to take you on board as an apprentice.

Obviously the wages would be low initially, but you would be learning the trade from a skilled moderator.

Once you have completed the training maybe FootyMad would then allow you to set up a separate CUFC site.

Then you would receive the substantial annual dividend (from advertising revenues) which is pooled and shared by the Footymad moderators each summer.

I'm not sure exactly how much this is, but suffice to say it has proved "life-changing" for Griff.

Hence his reluctance to set up a succession plan.

A month or so back you reckoned that 2-1 scored the most points in the comp howoldboy so I've been taking your advice without much success .. unless it was just a cunning plan to prevent posters catching you up? 🤔

It seems that you jinxed it Chalky.

At that stage the info was correct, but since you started selecting it there hasn't been a 2-1 for 5 weeks.

In those 5 weeks 9 games have finished 1-0.

Scores on the doors are now:

1-0 35 games.
2-1 32 games.
2-2 24 games.
1-1 23 games.
