Meanwhile there's a piece in The Telegraph this morning, says Newcastle will spend between £50m and £100m, the players they are looking at include Trippier, who they reckon is almost a done deal, Sven Botman from Lille, Lloyd Kelly, Joe Rodon, Mason Holgate, Tarko, Nat Philips, Rob Holding, Max Aarons, Romain Parraud and Lucas Digne. That's just defenders, there are plenty more besides.

Newcastle are serious about attempting to stay in the PL, we aren't.

I know what you're saying BT, but the 'situation' is exactly the same, two clubs both trying to stave off relegation. What is different is the way the two clubs have dealt with the situation. One owner sold to new owners with a bottomless pit of money, the other owner sold to new owners who don't have a pot to piss in. I expect it will be the potless owner's club that will be relegated, but as of this moment, they are both in exactly the same situation.

It’s a fair way of looking at it Sammy but the way we played up there I can’t imagine they see us as any type of threat at all tbh.

Tbh now I’d sell Tarky for as much as we can get for him and buy a new player to bolster the squad we really are going to need them.
