    Grimsby vs Halifax

Grimsby equalised in the last minute and looking like it'll end 1-1, ideal result for us really, good times. COYP.

1-1 full time, now 3 points off 2nd with a game in hand on Halifax.

Crutial we pick up 9 points in our next 3 now and keep the pressure on Chessie.

Ideal result. Grimsby battered Halifax in the last 30 minutes so a point was the least they deserved, but it brings Halifax within range and keeps the Mariners at arm's length.

Maybe that last minute equaliser was karma for us choosing to play yesterday's game.

with Furlough FC just squeaking past Lynn, they may be hitting a rough patch, hence not wanting to play us at al.l

Just think how different the table would look if we hadn't self-destructed in the last few minutes at Halifax.

Just swap Notts and Halifax current league positions but keep the same games played for each club and bingo there is your answer Sidders.

Aka a lot better than it does currently but that's football. Looking back it was a true six pointer.

Both Halifax and Grimsby dropping two points is the perfect result for us and makes it a good start to the New Year for us.

Goal difference is very close with the four teams above us on +15 and +16. We are on +13 so we have an opportunity to increase this over the next few games as this could be a worth an extra point come the end of the season.
