Because in Scottish football you aren't allowed to try anything new.

This kind of stuff is pish imo. It was a South American player link up a few years ago where we were promised promising young, up & coming South Americans would be heading our way & now it's a Fulham player & coach development/exchange. It'll be somethong else in a few years. Asghar will have a pal in the Fulham set up, just like he did at Boca and they'll have came up with some wise idea between them that most likely will come to nothing.
Cynical as hell that. I don't see the downside to this, expanding the clubs thoughts and experiences with another club seems make good sense for both Fulham and us.

Indeed, we have lots of fans that always quick to down this kind of thing, personally can't see a negative in it or the Boca thing before, the worst that can happen is f all... This time both parties have put it out there... It's been pretty much all positive under Ogren and Asghar, we've made many good signings, are lightyears as a club in every way from what we were in 2018/2019

Just going to wait and see how this transpire, a wee friendly at the Cottage in the summer would be nice 😊

Nothing came of the Boca thing, like you said 'f all', so it was a complete waste of time. Did it do us any harm? Well, apart from, I'd imagine, the club funding Asghars numerous trips to South America, no it didn't, but these kind of things are why I'm not getting overly excited by the next link up venture he comes up with.

I'm assuming COVID probably had a big effect on the Boca deal (although as we know that's a flimsy excuse as COVID doesn't exist )

Possibly. The transfer market didn't close however and we've heard nothing since the original article.
