    Biggest signing ever

With all the rumours of Courtinho and if true this would be the biggest signing since Collymore. Well in my eara anyway. Any thoughts on this?

Certainly would be a massive signing and a really exciting one cos he’s a quality player and will be huge playing under Gerrard who he has a lot of time for and is friends with !! A real game changer imo if defo goes ahead..

Depends on what exactly you mean Bongo? But surely, in your time, Merse ‘The Magic Man’ was a better signing than Stan?

For me, the best/my favourite established player ever signed? GOD, self-explanatory really. He who ‘walks on water’ was an apprentice signing, else it would be the latter for me.

Yet, the best/most pivotal signing has to be Peter Withe, the final piece in the jigsaw.

Bissouma the Brighton DM, has been linked since the summer, he’s at the AFCON with Mali. 18 months left on his contract.

Aaron Hickey LB at Bologna has been linked for weeks now.

No serious links for a CB, to my knowledge. Then again, I'm not likely to know. I only go on what I believe on certain days in certain media outlets
