So it would seem the 2 Spanish giants have thrown their hat in the ring for brereton diaz.
It will be very hard to keep him happy,if they become involved in the bidding.
Sure Newcastle(championship bound)and Leeds(also probably championship bound) is quite easy to rebuff,due to their struggling position but when 2 giants in football become involved,it could be how much we can get rather than keeping him no matter what.

Good, it adds to the fun.
£40m and he is their player. We will buy 3 or 4 and get better. It drives his price up.
No way on earth he will be going to one of those clubs though, he has had half a good season in the english 2nd Division. They want players who are the finished article/ He needs to step up to the Prem and prove it there first. Which won't be in Jan.

What we don't want is this happening on the 31st.
What I can see happening at rovers is players being brought in,just incase that said player leaves.
We are waiting on the right back to get his work permit,hedges being brought in just incase rothwell leaves and the possibility of Burke/maja brought in just incase brereton leaves.
Now if they all stay,we have bulked our thin squad out but if they do go,we have covered the bases.
Much more prepared than previous seasons.
