    Another twist to the saga

    https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/spo...mments-wrapper

On the slightly bright side, I think the EFL meeting was a scheduled one, and regarding their request, why wouldn't they? I'm surprised they only asked for proof of funds til January last time they requested. On the dark side, the administrators do actually have to find the cash

This is also independant of any takeover issues, the administrators will have seen this coming and it will have been factored into takeover talks, and if anyone is hoping to take the club over without sufficient funds, we're knackered anyway

Wayne says the preferred bidder is being announced tomorrow anyway, so stand easy chaps!

Thought you were referring to more revelations about the Downing Street party the night before the DoE’s funeral for a moment there, AF...or Theresa May giving Tricky’s Chinese spy an award.

Still let’s hope something goes right with the DCFC announcement tomorrow at least. We all need some good news.

Have you ever entertained the notion of not putting a political spin on footballing threads? Just a thought

Oh ffs lighten up! Look at the title...look at the context...to coin a phrase from someone...I was ‘just joshing’ and the ‘good news’ seems in about as short supply as your sense of humour.

Give it a rest, AF. My political comments are invariably restricted to the Covid and Brexit threads. You know it and I know it.
I rarely, if ever, confuse football and politics. You’d have a point if I did, but I don’t.
It was a joke...made in the context of Wednesday’s and Thursday’s ongoing political ‘saga’, and you’re a moderator on a poorly supported football forum, nothing more...nothing less. We’re all angry and disappointed with today’s DCFC news but have a word with yourself.
