I feel sure there will be one or two twists and turns before the deadline arrives in a little over two weeks time. I cannot believe that anyone connected with management at our club ,wants us to be relegated. This season is not over by a long way, but reading all the messages on here, you would think the opposite.
I agree Malwayne that the season is not over and despite pessimism/ realism we all hope that we can stay up.

However, something is not right this season. Some of the tactics, substitutions and reliance on out of form players have been hard to understand. Keep repeating that “we are not far off” has started to wear very thin and is more frequently replaced now by hoping to “nick a goal”.

We all know that we are fighting for survival in the PL pretty much every season. We know that SD’s hands were tied by Garlick. We acknowledge that BFC owes him a lot for what has been achieved on and off the pitch.

However, something is not right this season.

lost count of the amount of times I've read such as that - Swiss.....facts are, If S.D didn't like it, he could have Gone. there was nothing to stop him, and on many occasions, when we didn't make signings or weak areas were exposed, he'd make a statement of faith in club and players, and would back Garlick with the old "we're doing all we can, it's a tough market etc".....because there was a plan, and S.D played his part - Happily, thats as I see it.

No he hasn't, he's simply signed for a bigger club, one with ambition, that's offered him a better deal, as he is perfectly entitled to do. He'd have to have been absolutely brain-dead to turn Newcastle down and stay with us.

Correct sinkov, you also forgeot to mention that they have new found wealth.
Read this board every day and the fans are all convinced that, apart from about two players, we are just not good enough to be in the PL and that we are already relegated. With that feeling also coming through on match days that fans are not content with the players, the management, the football, the tea lady etc., etc. this is a very toxic atmosphere in which to play football and offers no encouragement to anyone.

I can't think of any Manager in the World who would do a better job than what Sean has done and continues to do. If anyone can name a Manager that can do a better job than Sean with the squad currently available at Turf Moor please list them below.
We’re in the wrong league then Sammy as if your not competitive ( and we aren’t ) then we need to go to a level we are going to be competitive.

I and many more on here appreciate as I’ve said many times what Dyche has done for the club and Were not qualified to do his job either before anyone asks.

However he’s in charge of tactics - players - substitutes, formations - throw ins (we’re Amateur at these )
    Recruitment.

My only gripe is we persist with the same dross every game week in week out, we never change shape or personnel to win a game - we play many minutes of football without a registered shot on goal, now you must have the patience of a saint watching us trying to compete in this league.

If you’re happy with it I understand to a point I really do , but for me we can’t compete in 70% of games now and the others a marginal at best.

I want to stay in this league to see the best players in the world come to play at my club , but I find myself filled with dread most games now as we don’t even have the pace to survive at this level - every team that comes is quicker , more mobile , doesn’t receive the ball standing still . ( we are statuesque by comparison).

After all of my rant my thought is the league doesn’t lie , if we finish 3rd bottom it’s because we are the third worst team in the league not through bad luck or misfortune,

If you don’t shoot you don’t score , if you don’t have the capability to keep the ball in the oppositions final third long enough to create chances , they take the ball of us and they score.

If Carroll is fit, then I'd take him. Carroll at his best is/was better than Wood who is also past his best. And Carroll is only two years older.
