Lots of parps today - including me - plus two birdies so far. (Well done the hard charging CAM and the oh-so-consistent Howdy.)

I thought it was a tricky word/hole so the shot scores have been impressive.

Ronners - and the voluble Mrs Ronners who seems to be walking the course with him - have taken on the mantle of witty commentators as Raging takes a well-earned break. Hopefully he’s not trying to go cold turkey for these last few holes. Might be a dangerous gambit…

A pretty straightforward birdie 3 for me today (26th Nov)

Hit a decent tee shot to within 75yds of the green and in the middle of the fairway (2y)
Took the sandwich out of my golf bag and chipped the ball high onto the green where it bounced and then rolled to within an inch of the hole (4g)
I now realised there was only 1 way to play this, so took out my small putter and knocked it straight into the hole (5g)
The mrs wouldn't come with me today as she had the face on and slept in the spare room. When she came to bed last night, she found me in bed with my golf clubs, when I saw the look on her face I said to her "Well you said I had to choose, right?"

Straightforward putt for birdie.

Ronners similar issue here. The other half stopped talking to me last night. You might remember me saying how she helped me to a birdie yesterday.

When I explained to her how, she was none too happy. What’s wrong with telling her she was my inspiration, when my 2nd guess was the word ‘witch’. No sense of humour I tell thee.

Back downhill and over the banking which is halfway between tee box and green

Not too pleased with first shot, just managed to drop down the banking, still a distance from green 2y
2nd shot 9 iron just onto fringe of green 3y
3rd shot, went for it with chip and run from 40ft. Straight in ! 5g
