    Chessy's may not be today but rest assured every team at the top will have an unexpected set back between now and the end of the season, including us. It will all depend on who recovers and reacts best when they hit a bump in the road to get back on track while the others trail off. As long as we're still breathing down their necks putting pressure on them right up until the last ball is kicked then this league title is anyones at this stage.

    out of interest, whatever happened to the FA Trophy final we were supposed to have taken part in last season ? - or have I dreamt it?

    We lost in the semi final mate, Birch's first game remember -

    In his first game in charge, on 27 March 2021, Notts County were beaten by non-league part-time team Hornchurch in the semi-final of the FA Trophy.

    Gave up a last minute goal to Hornchurch to tie it up, and lost it in penalties. If that doesn't jog the memory.

    Very true all teams will have setbacks, but it boils down to how many, any 1 set back on its own means little, its the cumulative effect of them over a season
