Rats here in the sewers. Got into the house through an old rainwater gully. Stupidly put poison down and one died under the floor. Stench and bluebottles. Tried a glue trap and caught its partner. Killed with an axe. Traced problem to sewers connecting to the gully. Blocked it and redirected downspouts. Put rat blocker stainless steel flaps in both sewers. All quiet on the Warton front now but just in case I have several types of bait ready. Cam is right. I have several rat size spring traps and you need the strength of Goliath to set them and nerves of steel to push them into place.
