Well I thought the guy was given a couple of seasons to get us up. So once more patience wins the day.

If we have a s hit squad this year and we do - it will be even worse next season. Failure to beat Peterborough and Preston will be the end and so it should be! The football and discipline record are embarrassing.

We have declined massively compared to Brentford and Leeds and sadly some of our supporters want to go to Specsavers to see it!

Hi Al, does that answer my question? Why give a bloke a couple of seasons to get us up and sack him before the two seasons are up? Expecting him to do it in 1......when he's been given 2? You can wear any glasses you like even night vision goggles but it still don't make sense.

Unfortunately Lai put him on a four year contract with a strategy to introduce a new philosophy .... whatever that is. Will be surprised if Val gets sacked thus season .....

Agree with the comments about our midfield or lack of. We play only two midfielders - perm any two of Livermore, Mowatt and Molumby. We have five defenders - a back three and the likes of Townsend, Furlong etc who are really defenders who overlap. Then a front three - perm any two from Robinson, Grant, Diangana, Philips and now Dike. It’s so obvious - we are deficient in the central midfield engine and no creativity as we didn’t replace Pereira.

We should be doing better even with the players we have though ....

There’s no point in a 4 year contract when you’re planning to sell a club.

A one year rolling contract should’ve been put in place on good personal terms.

Any manager not confident enough in his own abilities to take a job on on those terms isn’t fit for purpose.
