Wolves hosted Brentford early in the season and if I recall, it was one of our worst performances of the year. A 0-2 home loss to the newly promoted Bees was not what was desired after feeling a bit snakebit in our first few matches against bigger clubs. We were hoping to build on our first win against Watford, but were denied by a stellar Bees performance at Molineux. But the season has gone essentially opposite ways since the two met. Brentford got 12 points from their first 21 in the Prem, a fantastic start for a club just promoted. But since then, they've only achieved 11 points from the next 42. They'll most likely be safe from a real relegation battle, but they have been struggling since the hot start. Their home record is better than their road record. 13 points and an even goal difference at home and 10 points and a -9 goal difference on the road. Only five clubs have conceded more goals, but only 10 clubs have scored more. This puts their current position in the table - 14th and 9 points clear of relegation - a deserved one. Toney is their leading goal scorer, but he hasn't scored since late November and that was a penalty. Did score from open play the week before. Mbuembo is a MF that did score against us and he's their leading scorer in all competitions, thanks to a hat trick in the FA Cup. Wolves are a much more consistent team and I don't think the defensive lapses that plagued us in the first matchup will plague us again.

It's a struggle trying to predict scores at the moment. I thought I was on a winner last week when we went 2-0 up. In fact I was on a winner because i had backed us to win. We have a score to settle with Brentford.
