Had a flashback to my time in the bank there.
They used to have team bonding sessions on a Friday before branch opened which included table tennis, blow football, hide and seek and Tig.....I kid you not.
Never participated and it never went down well with new managers......one very new wifey manager attempted to foister her positivity and team spirit onto me.....always rebuffed.....more important things to do like pick my horses, make a cuppa or boot the printer.
She wouldn't let it go......and one day she said you'll never get anywhere in this organisation without participating......I kept that in my locker
The glorious day I got my redundancy I left a copy of my pay slip on her desk with a wee note saying no Tig, no blow football, no hide and seek and zero positivity ....but I got on just fine
P.s....i wuda played kick the can.😁
Point of story ....none really I just got a flashback.... pretty petty and crass but **** I enjoyed it.
