    Careless Motherwell Pay The Price

Motherwell endured a self-inflicted 3-1 loss to Ross County in a poor night in Dingwall. - LINK

Who is our Keith Lasley/Allen Campbell?? Can't think of him. Every single stat from last night's game was in Motherwell's favour, but we still found a way to get soundly beaten.

Someone more stats based than me will no doubt be able to confirm but from memory I don't think we've won a game (ignoring LC perhaps) this season when we've had more possession than the opposition.

Edit: and I don't think the lack of a Campbell/Lasley was the problem last night, it was the lack of a Nicky Law. We have guys who can (usually) be trusted to work hard and keep the shape, we don't have a guy who you'd really trust to dominate a game by making passes from the midfield. Goss should have stepped up last night but didn't and the manager also needs to ask why we kept two very defensive players in the centre rather than bringing on Slattery - who we've seen time and time again not only do a good job himself but improve the performance of Goss. It'd also have been perfect for Tierney. Presumably there are fitness/health reasons behind that though.
