Not only are we in need of a fresh striker to help rejuvenate the forward/attack line, we also have to be prepared for the start of next season in readiness for whichever league we may be in.
We know our chairman has said there are funds available to spend so why are we not making official approaches for anyone when time is both important and of the urgency?
Are we to be left floundering scraping the bottom of the barrel close season again?
Action is required now not at the end of the season.

I fully agree.We need to bring in that striker now,not waiting till Freddie leaves because that will be late on, done purposely by his agent to try and get a better deal.If we were left at the last minute to find a replacement we would be up the creek.In fact we should be buying and also getting in a loanee from an higher club like our other rival clubs are doing.We have a good squad but are not converting the many chances we create.

We have needed a left back for multiple seasons. Bola? Not getting much game time.
Every season we sign too many midfielders when the budget could be used on a better striker. Does anyone really expect the management team to sort this?
Not just down to Warne but our recruitment at times and contracts given e.g Mattock is baffling.

Left back position is not going to be resolved soon even though we got Bola, as Warne now opts for a back three, playing some players out of position but, it’s working okay at the moment and we have one of the best defensive records in all 4 leagues.
We have adequate cover in wing play through Oggy, Miller, Fergie, Sadlier and even Bola as a left sided winger if called upon.
Get that front line sorted before it’s too late!

Got option to extend Smudger's contract for one season so he won't go for nothing. Warney or recruitment it's backfiring on them not getting it right in the summer. All this season so far no left sided central defender. Being a striker short, Grigg not the answer.
