    Jermaine Defoe

Looking for a short term contract.

I honestly believe he would do a far better job than all of our strikers that we have, except Dike and I reserve judgement on him as far too early to say.

Fit as a fiddle, looks after himself and would be a great asset in the dressing room.

Always liked him and unlike our donkeys - he knows where the net is! For me though - number one priority is a creative midfielder

I know it’s not the best opposition but one hell of a finish

Might be useful if we want a striker to stick the ball in the net, but these days in football strikers are needed to bring wingers into the game or hold the ball or run channels or track the full backs, sell shirts or just about anything else so I haven’t a clue really

Another 12 months of Livermore and he will have a lovely pension for not being able to pass, taking the players legs before the ball, and for a walking stick which will surely be a must in his short term
