    Noor Husin Joins Southend

Southend have signed Noor Husin on a two and a half year contract from Dartford for an undisclosed fee. Good luck to the lad.

Tidy enough player, he just never was really able to impose himself on games. He must have been playing well at a lower level to have caught Southend's eye, so yeah good luck to the lad.

He looked a decent player but not the player we needed, we needed to replace Yates yet never did

Spot on..it was ludicrous to try and replace Yates with him.The two players were completely different in style , it had disaster written all over it...!

I wasn't a fan to be honest. He looked like one of those players with a bit of ability, but he didn't work hard enough to make it pay. Maybe he has improved over the last couple of years, but his arrival at Notts pretty much coincided with Kevin Nolan losing the plot.

Tbf he wasn’t ever going to make it under Nolan’s style of play, would be interesting to see how he performed in our team now, he definitely seemed to have some quality and has done well to get a decent move.

I think in the current set up he would have done well. There are quite a few players that we’ve got rid of that would have done well with the style we’ve now developed
