    NYS Pitch comments by PW

Don't get his comments - 'the pitch has 'gone' and we're slipping all over on it' - why are we watering it before kick off?
I didn't see too many slipping on Saturday, only thing slipping is Ladapo's valuation!

Harding slipped on it in first half and that’s only one I noticed
Think they have to water it for whatever is under the grass (sand?)
Had a few problems for last few seasons but don’t know why, Fellowes is an excellent ground keeper and if he’s asking for help then he obviously needs it, clearly no ****er is interested in working these days

Oh and the young flag bearers got soaked through as well , hope someone gave them a towel

Not sure also where the comments are coming from. If you look at 90% of the lower league pitches they are far worst than ours plus we only use the grass for 20% of our play

Took a neutral to the game on Saturday (spurs fan). He commented. There's still a lot of heading goes on in the lower division's.

20% grass play indeed......think Warney is feeling the pressure somewhat. Maybe he could be more specific in 'what' areas are we losing the pitch.

Yes it looks like a smokescreen to deflect criticism.

Don't they change boots and/or studs anymore to match the conditions?

Bearing in mind they warm up on the same pitch before the match starts

Doesn't work then does it ?
I'm sure three quarters of the league would love to swap places with us, including many so called big teams.
