Barnsley v AFC Bournemouth Match Thoughts

Refereed today by a certain Andre Marriner who no doubt is well known to quite a few of the Bournemouth squad including the manager Scott Parker .

    Just saying like .

Feels like a lifetime away since we beat The Cherries 3-2 on their own patch and produced probably the best second half performance by a reds side I've personally seen in twenty years .

Coming back from 1-2 down at half time we battered em in that second half .

A point today would be one hell of an achievement .

Seems light years away dunt it mate. The highlight of last season for me that.

As regards today- if an early goal guz in our net then I fear a real battering is on the cards.

One thing I will say is that conditions are far from ideal and there's always a chance that those Bournemouth players might become complacent and think they've just got to turn up today. That is the only glimmer of hope that we have imo because this is the absolute pits at present.

I will be watching , more out of morbid curiosity than anything else , defeats don't hurt anymore , as much as I would love a win today , it all seems pretty hopeless , on and off field activities or lack of them ! Show we deserve to be where we are ,
    Rock Bottom ,
Turn sound off and watch as a neutral , see if that helps !!!
