Three huge points players digging deep even when on their last legs and the fact we held on till the final whistle.

    • Manqer was very solid when he needed to be.
    • We managed to keep a clean sheet for once, breaking up a lot of play in the midfield and being calm under pressure in the box.
    • Schar was solid all game
    • Lascelles didn't fuck up
    • Fraser ran himself into the ground (but wouldn't like to see him injured at all)
    • Willock came alive for one of the few times this season

Well deserved. But hopefully now, Amandarling signs off the extra millions to give us a chance of survival. We need to spend, spend, spend so by the time we play Everton, we can tug them back into the shit with us.

Trippier makes such a big difference and his attitude and professionalism is maybe starting to pay dividends quicker than expected.

Also well done from Howe. The 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 (defending/attacking) actually worked, even though Wood was sloppy, he was a handful and won duels that Fraser and Maxi picked up.

Simple tactics, with simple jobs for the players, pared with 15 good shift won us the game.

One of the least expected wins for us I can remember-we showed guts, determination and organisation.

3 massive points when I wasn't expecting one.

I can watch Match of the Day!!

    Eddie Howe.

We take the lead on 75 minutes:

Bruce puts 11 behind the ball and hopes to resist the inevitable pressure for 15 minutes.

Despite most players being knackered, Howe offers a counter attack threat. Leeds don’t threaten once and we are unlucky not to make it 0-2.

Yes, we did exactly the same against Watford and lost 2 points, so I'm not buying that one.

I did however like Howes approach with a simple and clear strategy. Something you never saw under Bruce.
