    Team v Hibs

One change, KVV in for Woolery - good move.

Slattery on bench and Carroll (!) at CB - we're still going to get tanked.

We have Victor ready to come off the bench and help defend a lead.

This is where I find Alexander's approach to the media - and indirectly the fans - absolutely infuriating. If we have a squad decimated by injury/illness etc then fair enough, patch the team up and send them out. But fans will judge his decisions with the information available and looking at that defence and midfield it's hard not to be bemused...

0-0, a well deserved point, if anything we were marginally the better side but if so it was 51-49...weather ruined it.

Donnelly and Alexander were absolute idiots.

    That was dreadful stuff.

That was a poor game between two poor sides but yet again we showed absolutely no desire to go and get the win, rather we seemed set up to not lose. I cannot for the life of me understand why Donnelly (yet again) started ahead of Slattery and our ‘tactics’ appeared to be to just let us sh1tfest our way to a draw.

If there are any positives to take from tonight then it has to be that way we didn’t lose (and of course that’s a positive) but that was a poor, poor performance and absolutely awful viewing.

What were Hibs thinking about towards the end? A man advantage, and on one occasion when the ball was punted up to KVV there were six Hibees between him and the goal. A man up, Motherwell offering very little in attack, and they had six players back? Again, I know its de rigeur to play out from the back, but if I were a Hibs fan I'd be wondering why, with time running out, Hibs doggedly passed the ball around their defence and wasted some of the minutes left. I'm quite pleased they did, because a few blooters up the park, against a tiring team, and in those conditions, surely had the potential to cause us a bit more bother than what they were doing.
Anyway, it's a point. Onward and (very slowly) upward.

    Negatives:
    - Donnelly in, Slattery out - just reinforces we're a team that misses out the midfield
    - Alexander sending off (again !). May just be me, but as each game passes he's starting to look more like Jack Nicolson's 'Here's Johnnie' character from The Shining. Get a grip Graham.

    Positives:
    - gaining a point when playing with 10 men for 20 mins is a bonus
    - 4th place at this time of the season ... who woudnae have took that ?
    - no rooves blew off the stands !!
