Match night approaches at long, long last, with Notts still looking likely to play what feels like only their third National League game since colour telly was launched!

This time fans have a first opportunity to visit Wealdstone's Grosvenor Vale ground in the hope of watching Notts take all the points and hit the half way point of the season by attaining the magical '2.00 PPG' average.

Wealdstone are no mugs, however, and Notts will have to be 'on it' from the kick-off, rather than waiting to go behind before applying any intensity.

Here's to the Mighty 'Pies bringing the points home and increasing the pressure on the top of the table, where Cheaterfurlough are still ahead by a nose, although whose nose it is remains unclear. COYP!

Excellent preview Swale! Fingers crossed for the 3 points and like you say the magical 2.00 PPG!

Never mind the grass, apparently it's the dead foxes you need to watch out for there!

Having looked at the betting for tonight, 7/4 for Notts to score in both halves looks half decent. (William Hill)

A strong starting eleven, and a strong bench. This is the sort of game that we should be winning if we're serious about the automatic place, we should have enough but I don't think it will be easy.

I'll take a poor, scrappy game as long as we get 3 points.
