    Half time views...

The season has roughly reached the half way point so what's your views so far,are things better at the club and on the field than they was two months ago when I know that there was some major grumbling going on,are you still sweating about the drop or are you more confident of safety now?

It's tough in the National League, clubs are spending big money (for the NL) trying to get out,Wrexham recently signed Ollie Palmer from the Wombles for £300,000 which is mad money for non League and there's known names plying their trade in non league now and it's not the league of old with part timers and pub teams,Notts sit 8th but with two games and six points behind the leaders, only two clubs go up, somebody is going to be disappointed

    DAMN those Hollywood stars.

We’re better off than we were a couple of months back but still can’t score for toffee. Precarious is how I’d describe our position.

We've tightened up at the back and with the addition of the new guy plus the introduction of Senior, we may be able to keep ourselves in mid table for the goals conceded. Howver we are the lowest scoing team and our ability to change that will be key to where we finish the season. If only we could get someone like Ibehre - seasoned professional with the ability to hold the ball, head the ball and score goals paying against tough Div 2 centre backs.

It's a dangerous thing to have rich owners that see owning a football club as a hobby, the owners have splashed out big for non league and will probably get promoted but the costs will multiply once they get promoted, mid to lower position in League two may bore them and move onto some other less expensive hobby, there's a saying in fishing whenever you spot somebody new to angling come over for a chat "All the gear but no idea" Wrexham's owners will move on in a couple of seasons, probably in brand new golf gear
