In all my years supporting Albion I haven't seen such inept, dare I say it, football. Continue like this and there is no way that we will get into the play offs.
Sadly agree. Had really hoped that the confidence -and goals-towards end of last game would carry over but it's always the hope that kills isn't it? We just revert to type and think Val has to shoulder much of the blame for this Inc his selection and tactics.

Despite their cynical tactics ... Preston are much better than us. Absolute dire. We have no heart, desire, quality, ideas ... The players clearly do not buy in to this system. Ismael OUT.....

Totally agree. As said before, this group of players are far from best we have had even over recent years but we all know they can do better because they have. The managers job is to get the best out of what he has and Val clearly is not doing that. It's not even about managing to get promotion this season (never a nailed on proposition anyway) it's about his ability to re-build over the coming ones of his contract and have lost all faith in that. We need a new broom-and quickly.

Well that was very bad, effing dreadful, awful, terrible, frightful, utterly atrocious, disgraceful, deplorable, shameful, woeful, hopeless, lamentable, almost laughable, substandard, piss poor, inadequate, inferior, bloody unsatisfactory - oh and Albion were also Sh1t and utter garbage - I have now spoken - Val has to GO.

I don't mind losing games if you can see what a manager is trying to build but with this coach I haven't a clue, nor does he by the look of things. Right from the word go, before a ball is kicked, you start to worry. Why do you leave your best defender out of the side, unless injured of course? Consequently, the defence, which in fairness has been decent this season, were 'all over the shop'.

During the game itself, we were also clueless. There looks to be no pattern to the play except hoof it upfield and hope for the best. It doesn't take a super football brain to work out that these players don't want to play this system, if you can call it a system. I still maintain, with the right person in charge, this side can be successful. We need to act now and get rid of him and try to get somebody in with a plan of how to actually play football.

Agreed for too many games this season there has been no pattern of play
Apart from lump it, which was not followed by the pressing we were promised
Crossing has been awful and yesterday every ball just bounced off our forwards who continually were playing with their backs to goal

Nothing went in behind and there was no interplay as the third pass always went wide of the mark

So depressing, have no idea what he was thinking with his reorganising of the back 3/4/5
TGH shows real impetus whenever he is on to the point you wonder why the heck he was ever on the bench
No idea why Robinson was on the bench either

Would love to see Tulloch given some time too
