    O/T. Dog owners

We have 3 dogs in the family and all 3 have come down with the virus that has been reported on the news and social media.
Brown rain from one end and white sticky bile from the other

    Not plesent

Vets have no idea what's causing it and reports say 5-10 days to recover ☹️
    Take care pet owners

Many dog lovers around the world Brin.

Funny story here (at least I thought it was funny). Earlier in January we had lots of rain and this area is susceptible to landslides. Locally, one house slid off it's foundations and pancaked with the owners and two dogs inside. Thankfully, the humans got out OK, one dog perished and to much fanfare, after 7 days digging the other dog was rescued alive.

Today there's a report of another landslide that happened about the same time where a man was suspected to have perished and 21 days later crews are finally going in to start looking for him

Dog is certainly man's best friend

If vets have no idea. Can't believe that. I wouldn't know.

Originally it was thought to be something the dogs caught whilst on the beach, because it was predominantly in North Yorkshire and Tees side.

However there have been outbreaks in land and vets now think it’s a form of parvovirus.

Recommendation to prevent your dog from catching it is to keep them on a lead

My mates dog came down with this illness a couple of weeks ago. Cost him £400 for blood tests and the Vet's time.

...........save the other lazy 2hats from leaving the crap everywhere....................PS, the dog recovered quicker than my mate did over the bill...........
