Just sign a Striker

This transfer window, the normal mixture of head scratching / confusion and utter disbelief. Clear to ( most ) that a decent striker, ok both on the floor and in the air, something like Bamford, is desperately needed, but no, this fixation & obsession of small, lightweight wingers, who in parts can play up front, just like James is getting crazy.
We have maybe 4-5 players who fit this type, important in a balanced team structure yes, but we have nothing up top.
Other clubs seem to attract, and have, it would seem better vision regarding new players, we do appear to be one track, one style, yet with glaring holes that need filling.
