Yes some generous comments towards us but then one or two seem to have missed the point by stating that it all depends upon how ambitious they are in the transfer market

To be fair there's a SWFC fan on there who suggests teams should get out of the league first by the most effective method and then play the pretty passing game next season. Fortunately for us the penny hasn't dropped with the Managers of the big clubs in div one

Difficult league to get out of and Paul Warne & Co know what it takes and it isn't tippy tappy football playing it out from the back. We don't get enough credit, we're quite capable of playing diffent systems to suit and we have stability at the club. No good swopping managers every few months, it won't work.
Alex Neil will do a decent job for Sunderland, if they give him time.

Interesting read with the Mackem fans saying how they saw it. Sour grapes from most Owls fans, as expected though.

Like some said, just get out of this League first and play the fancy stuff in the Championship where teams might let you play tippy tappy football until you get within 40yds of the goal. We tried to just let other teams have the ball and fall back, defend the middle and make them go down the wings and hopefully defend the cross............obviously it didn't work.
