'Newcastle could blast the last days of Ligue 1 transfer window'

    From L'Equipe:

"Newcastle's activity over the next few days could boost the French market, which has been sluggish since the start of this winter. At least in the direction of departures."

    https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Arti...igue-1/1313526

Do they know something? Perhaps Hugo Ekitike in on deadline day??

If it has been sluggish then there may be one or two good deals to pick up.

Aye, perhaps our owners know a few gems in Ligue 1 which are off the radar? It should be an interesting few days...

Surely it is just us pumping £33 million into the league that Lyon are planning on spending straight away so will encourage deals all over?

Yeh that's probably it. We did enquire about Ekitike earlier in the window though i think. Looks like he could be off to Wet Spam though

Ekitike won't go to West ham.

I don't want Nketia from A- hole, so waste of a squad place.

We need to own assets that will develop over time together compliment Bruno NOT loan others fringe players and pay for the privilege, those days are behind us.

Going cap in hand, being for scraps from the table of 6 is beneath us.

There will be more signings possibly from France or Spain. I like the idea of Corresca but don't see it as a priority.

Like most on here it's a CB, a Striker (number 9)
And a LB is what i really think we need to Bring in.

If we nail down Bakker & Zapata I'll be very pleased with the business done in this window.

The CB I'd take any one of the following:
    1.the guy from Mainz,
    2. the Serb lad at Forentina
    3.Sure from Bayern,
    4. the gerodie lad from Brighton

If we can get anyone of the 1-3 or Seville stop being prix and do a deal on Carlos then I'll be delighted.

The lad from Brighton should be brought in and Clarke flushed on a free for embarrassing the club in front of our new owners n because he's garbage liability on legs.
